Coffee/Welcome Rotas The new rotas for September are in the pigeon holes.
Pride of Normanton (Celebrating everyday heroes) We are hosting a big event in September this year as part of Hope 08. It will be to honour anyone in town who has done or given service in any way to the people of Normanton. It is not primarily for the church but for people of the wider community. We will have a large display at the Gala for taking nominations and displaying much of what we do. Watch this space as things unfold. Claire Young who was the runner up in this years “The Apprentice” who is from Wakefield will be presenting the awards.
Communion before Confirmation Children over the age of 7 years are welcome to take Communion before Confirmation. This will be after taking a short intro course that we implement into our Sunday morning children’s work. We would however like to emphasise that we encourage the act of confirmation and this should be taken into consideration. Please note that all parents/guardians can administer the communion to their under 7 year old children if they wish.

Daniella Smith I would very much like to thank everyone who helped make Daniella’s placement so enjoyable. I especially thank Ron and Rose for kindly allowing Daniella to live with them for two weeks.
